Core
Starting care is simpler than you think. Our team guides you through every step, from your first call to your first day.

How to Get Started
No complicated paperwork. No long waiting periods. Just clear next steps.
Contact our admissions team by phone or through our website contact form. We are available to answer your questions, ease your concerns, and help you understand your options — without pressure.
Once we have your basic information, we will run a full verification of your insurance benefits at no cost to you. We work with commercial insurance plans, out-of-network benefits, and single-case agreements. You will know what your coverage looks like before committing to anything.
After your benefits are confirmed, we will match you with the right program and schedule your intake assessment. Many clients are seen within days of their first call.
What Happens on the First Call
We ask a few questions. You ask yours. Then we figure out what fits.
Your first call with Crown Behavioral Health is simple and straightforward. A member of our admissions team will ask you a few questions to understand your situation, like what you are currently dealing with, what kind of support you are looking for, and what your insurance looks like.
Our goal is to give you accurate information and help you decide if Crown is the right place for you. If we are not the right fit, we will do our best to point you toward someone who is.
Pre-Admission Assessment
A thorough evaluation means treatment that actually fits your needs.
Before your first day of programming, you will complete a pre-admission assessment with a licensed clinician. This evaluation covers your mental health history, substance use history, current medications, daily functioning, and your goals for treatment.
The assessment is not something to be nervous about. It is your opportunity to be fully heard by someone who is trained to help. The information gathered here shapes your individualized care plan — the level of care, the modalities used, and the schedule that fits your life. Everything that follows is built around what you share in this conversation.
Day One at Our Program
Your first day is about orientation, connection, and getting comfortable.
Walking into treatment for the first time can feel uncertain. We understand that. On your first day at Crown Behavioral Health, there is no pressure to have it all figured out.
Here is what your first day typically looks like:
By the end of your first day, you will know who you are working with, what your schedule looks like, and what the next steps are. You will not be left wondering what comes next.
Family Involvement
Recovery is stronger with a support system. We help you build one.
Addiction and mental health challenges affect the people around you, not just you. Crown Behavioral Health welcomes family involvement in the treatment process — when the client is comfortable with it and when it supports their recovery goals.
Family members may be invited to participate in educational sessions, family therapy, or discharge planning conversations. We also provide guidance for families who want to understand what their loved one is going through and how to offer support without enabling. If you are a family member reaching out on behalf of someone you love, our admissions team is ready to talk with you too.
